Charter Chatter October 4th, 2013
A Message from the Director:
What a fantastic parade for homecoming! Thank you to all of the parents who helped
the students with their floats. I
received many comments about the parade.
I heard many people say it was just like a trip to Disneyland. People were truly impressed. It is wonderful
to experience a total TLC experience.
Thank you for supporting our schools.
We appreciate it.
Primary Sapphire
The Sapphire Team had a wonderful
week.
Team Sapphire picked students
of the month from each grade level; these students were chosen based on our SWO
Polite Citizen. They
each received a gift card and a certificate. Representing Phase 1 is Tatum Kusy-Penirian, Phase 2 Mina Shokoor and Final Phase is Diego Ruiz. These students demonstrated many outstanding
behaviors; always helping their friends and sharing with others, as well as
good manners. We are very proud of them
all.
Parents, we
are noticing many students are dropped off before 7:45 in the morning. Please remember that there is NO SUPERVISION
before 7:45 and students are not allowed inside the gate until after this time.
There is morning care available,
“breakfast club” for your child; there they will be supervised and receive
breakfast, for more information please ask your child’s teacher.
Please make sure that if your
child is bringing their lunch to school that you send it with them in the
morning. If you forget their lunch and need to bring it later, make sure that
you bring it to the office NOT to your child’s classroom. The office will call
the classroom for the student to go and get their lunch. We appreciate your
help with this matter as there have been many interruptions of classes the last
few weeks.
Please make sure that you
layer the clothing your child wears each day to school, as our mornings are
getting chilly.
Did you know: Study club is every day of the week,
except Wednesday; this is a great place for your child to come and get homework
completed with a teachers help.

MHS Charter Chatter
MHS
September quickly passed as we officially entered our fall
season! Homecoming came early to Millennium High School, but this year’s
homecoming events created great memories and really showed our Falcon
Pride! Students, staff, parents, and the
community celebrated with the 6th annual Homecoming Parade, Rally,
Football game, and Homecoming dance. The response from the TLC family was
incredible and we would like to thank everyone who participated or watched this
year’s events.
In spirit of National Tree Planting Day on October 4th,
the high school planted four trees outside our fence. Each tree represents the nests and we will
have fun throughout the year personalizing the trees per nest.

Exciting MHS News!!
We as a staff are
thrilled to announce that our student body has done an excellent job on the
California State Testing and Reporting or (STAR) exams. We had a goal as a
school of reaching the 800 mark in terms of Academic Performance Index or (API)
and we made it to 799!
We are now the number
one ranked High School in all of Tracy and in San Joaquin County! We want to
celebrate this accomplishment and reward our students and staff.
On Friday October 11th, we will have a day of fun activities and food planned
for our students. We will be serving a continental breakfast in the morning,
planning fun activities for the morning and concluding with a free BBQ lunch.
We also will be rewarding the students that day with an early release. All students will be released at
12pm on October 11th. Please make pick up arrangements
accordingly as the staff will be leaving early as well and the campus closed
for the day at 12pm.
We are very happy that
we have achieved these results and can show our appreciation to our students
and staff with this celebration. We also look forward to continued success in
the future. Falcon Pride!
Thank you to the wonderful visitor
